Late Breakfast is proud to celebrate the release of Cruel Diagonals' new album, *Fractured Whole*, out March 24th via Beacon Sound. Joining her on the lineup are fellow electronic visionaries Maral and Ellen Phan.

Ellen Phan is an artist working primarily in the field of computer music. The focus and intention of her work is aimed at the subconscious mind. She has released music on Anòmia and Bánh Mì Verlag.

Maral’s sonic palette incorporates a collage of Iranian Classical & Folk samples and explores genres of experimental electronic production such as noise, punk/post-punk, and dub. Maral has released two critically acclaimed records, *Ground Groove* (2022) and *Push* (2020) on Leaving Records. She has collaborated with artists such as Lee "Scratch" Perry, Panda Bear, Penny Rimbaud of Crass, Anika and more.

Since 2016, Los Angeles-based multimedia artist, Cruel Diagonals (aka Megan Mitchell), has been creating critically acclaimed experimental electronic music and intriguing visuals. Cruel Diagonals applies her brilliant voice to compositions and improvisations that are the antithesis of staid tradition, favoring fluiditing of tones over the grid-like modes of much electronic music. Her minimal gear setup, supplemented by field recordings extracted from decrepit industrial sites and natural spaces, highlight her acute sense for chilling atmospheres and timbres. Previous releases have earned rave reviews in The Wire, Pitchfork, and NPR.
